Social Responsibilities

The impact an organisation has on its external stakeholders can be addressed in a number of ways. The concept of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) has paved the way for fresh thinking about the positive and negative effects of business on people.

Given the unique nature of organisations and the sectors or industries in which they operate, there is no blanket approach which applies to all. While there are often similarities across sectors, the differing nature of business necessitates a tailored approach.

Our approach to social responsibility is much like our approach to employment and environmental responsibilities. We suggest a proactive approach rather than a reactive response which inevitably incurs cost.
